Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners in a dynamic school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. In this contract role, you’ll work onsite at a single location, delivering impactful speech and language services to students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. The position runs from early August through early June, including additional preparation and wrap-up days before and after the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California CTC license, or verifiable progress towards licensure (CTC permit costs are the candidate’s responsibility)
  • SLP-CCC or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Experience with pediatric populations within school or healthcare settings
  • Teletherapy experience is valued but all services will be onsite
  • Comfort with a mixed caseload, ranging from mild to severe needs
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for TK–8th grade students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services across a variety of communication disorders and needs
  • Maintain accurate records, document progress, and coordinate scheduling within the school calendar
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and required trainings

This position offers the opportunity to work a consistent schedule—40 hours per week, Monday through Friday—for all 180 school days plus an additional 20 days dedicated to planning and closeout activities. Earn between $45 and $55 per hour while making an impactful difference in students’ lives.
