Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role supports elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade, focusing on their speech and language development. You will work full-time within well-respected elementary school settings, collaborating with educational teams to create nurturing and effective learning environments.
Qualifications and Credentials:
- Possession of a current and valid New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license (must be in hand and ready to present)
- Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working as an SLP within a school or educational setting with K-5 students highly desired
- Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs, conducting evaluations, and supporting diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to a dynamic caseload of 35+ students in grades K-5
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as district-specific procedures and reporting requirements
- Document progress, update IEPs, and participate in meetings and conferences as needed
- Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate
