School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Estancia, New Mexico

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Credentials:

• Possession of a current and valid New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license (must be in hand and ready to present)
• Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience working as an SLP within a school or educational setting with K-5 students highly desired
• Knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs, conducting evaluations, and supporting diverse student populations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy to a dynamic caseload of 35+ students in grades K-5
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as district-specific procedures and reporting requirements
• Document progress, update IEPs, and participate in meetings and conferences as needed
• Actively contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate
