Join a leading AI lab in a unique opportunity to influence the future of healthcare by leveraging your expertise in emergency medicine. As an Emergency Medicine Expert, you will design clinical scenarios, evaluate AI model outputs, and contribute to the development of advanced healthcare reasoning models that will shape acute and emergency care.
Key Responsibilities
- Design clinically realistic prompts and scenarios based on your emergency medicine practice, including triage, undifferentiated chief complaints, resuscitation, procedural sedation, and disposition decisions.
- Write “golden” reference responses that meet attending-level quality standards.
- Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
- Provide written feedback to the research team to enhance model behavior.
- Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.
Qualifications
- Attending physicians must be board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
- Resident physicians must be in their final year of residency; recent graduates must be board-eligible.
- Fellows must be board-certified or board-eligible in their primary specialty and hold a current active, unrestricted medical license.
Work Terms
- Remote position with 100% asynchronous work.
- Default commitment of 20 hours per week, with the possibility to increase after onboarding based on demand.
- Engagement starts on a rolling basis after onboarding sign-off.
- Ongoing duration, with monthly reviews.
Compensation
Compensation ranges from $130 to $300 per hour, determined by seniority tier (early-career to senior attending). Your specific rate will be confirmed in your offer.
