Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Salinas, CA
Days: Monday – Friday
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve ADLs (activities of daily living).
- Provide direct therapy to residents recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.
- Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and care teams to support resident goals.
- Document progress notes and update treatment plans per facility and regulatory guidelines.
- Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on adaptive techniques and equipment use.
Requirements
Active state Occupational Therapist license (must be valid in facility state).
NBCOT certification.
SNF/Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
