Telecommunications Business Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Telecommunications Business Consultant. As an Outbound Business Sales Consultant, you will engage with existing Small-Medium Business customers to upgrade and optimize their wireless phone services.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for engaging clients through inbound and outbound calls to consult on their current packages and uncover opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services that drive more value.
  • Your goal is to work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized solutions to meet their business goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of verifiable sales experience is required. General retail roles (e.g., working at big box retailers) that do not include commission-based selling or performance targets are not considered qualifying sales experience for this position.
  • Formal training in a recognized sales methodology (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales etc.) is a strong asset.
  • Telecommunications experience is preferred but not required.
  • You should be proficient in navigating multiple CRM and business systems simultaneously.
  • You must have exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • You should apply proven sales and retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
  • You are experienced in B2B telecommunications sales.
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • You have demonstrated ability to manage a structured sales process in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangements

  • This role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, scheduled anytime Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST.
  • Additionally, you may work extra hours beyond 20 at your discretion, which can significantly increase your commission earnings.

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
