Job Title: Warehouse Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly reliable and safety-conscious individual for a Warehouse Worker position in Dartmouth. This role involves crate and pallet construction, cargo packaging and securing, and general warehouse maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build crates and pallets for cargo transport
- Secure breakbulk cargo onto flat racks and containers
- Create container load maps and conduct condition inspections
- Label and heat-wrap cargo
- Perform equipment checks and general warehouse upkeep (e.g., racking, painting)
- Follow ISO and OHSAS procedures
Safety & Quality Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment for self and others
- Adhere to QHSE procedures and report hazards or incidents
- Participate in the Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) Committee
- Authorized to stop any unsafe activity or condition
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (logistics experience preferred)
- Experience using power tools
- Valid certifications in Dangerous Goods Handling, WHMIS, First Aid, and Forklift Operation
